With over 12 years of experience in Portuguese, International and European tax law, Rita advises a wide range of clients on complex cross‑border matters. Her practice mostly focuses on individuals, family offices, real estate investment structures, investment funds and medium‑to‑large companies operating in sectors such as real estate development and management, hospitality, healthcare and other service industries. Before establishing her own advisory practice more than five years ago, Rita worked as a lawyer at two leading Portuguese law firms and as a tax adviser in International and European tax in Luxembourg and in the Netherlands. Rita has extensive experience assisting clients with personal taxation, corporate taxation, international mobility, real estate structuring and cross-border tax matters, combining technical rigour with practical, client‑centred guidance.
Rita holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She earned an LL.M. in International and European Tax Law from Maastricht University and completed a postgraduate qualification in Taxation, specialising in Advanced Corporate Taxation, at the Catholic University of Portugal.
Rita is the author and co‑author of several tax‑related articles published by the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) since 2018.
